Zakmes

Zakmes is an emo/pop-punk band which started out as a soloproject by Zakaria Messaoudi but has now grown into a full band. Zakmes pours raw emotion in their music while mixing influences from genres like trap, alt-pop, indie and electronic music, as heard on their EP’s BIG THINGS COMING SOON and MAKE EMO GREAT AGAIN. Zakmes’ new EP We Are SO Back will be released on October 2nd. The inspiration for this new EP lies in 2018, when frontman Zakaria broke his kneecap which was shortly followed by the covid lockdowns. Zakaria’s fast paced life was brought to a halt, a period which still feels like stolen time.
