7 Miles To Pittsburgh – Revolution On Hold
In 2017, 7 Miles to Pittsburgh released their self-titled debut album to rave reviews in the Dutch and European rock press. This led to a series of shows with Tyketto and a number of major festival shows in the summer of 2018. Hailed as ‘the band to watch’ by renowned writers and journalists in the industry, the band wasted no time in writing and recording their second album, “Revolution On Hold”.
Vocalist Andrew Elt rose to fame with Dutch rockers and Atlantic Recording Artists Sleeze Beez and went on to play over 40 shows a year with his Led Zeppelin tribute, Physical Graffiti. Bassist Martin Helmantel and drummer Dirk Bruinenberg are veterans of the Dutch progressive rock scene, having played with Dutch prog rockers Elegy for 17 years. Guitarist Joris Lindner is a multi-instrumentalist and has toured with Dutch grunge rockers Komatsu. Remco van Zandvoort is a relative newcomer to the music scene, learning and perfecting his craft as Piano, Hammond B3, Fender Rhodes, Moog and Melotron at the famous Rock Academy. He also plays with Andrew in Physical Graffiti.
