Annisokay – Arms RE-RELEASE – 1 LP Pearl Flip Dawn

Released in August 2018 via Arising Empire, ARMS is the fifth studio album from German post-hardcore and metalcore outfit Annisokay. Produced by the band alongside longtime collaborator Christoph Wieczorek, the album marked a major evolution in Annisokay’s sound, blending crushing modern metalcore with atmospheric electronics, massive choruses, and emotionally charged songwriting. Exploring themes of inner struggle, anxiety, emotional vulnerability, and personal resilience, ARMS balances aggressive heaviness with melodic depth and cinematic production. Tracks such as “Coma Blue,” “Human,” and “Unaware” showcase the band’s ability to combine massive breakdowns, soaring clean vocals, and contemporary electronic influences into an accessible yet hard-hitting sound.
