Chocolate Watchband – This Is My Voice
Psychedelic garage rock legends The Chocolate Watchband return in full force with This Is My Voice, their politically charged and sonically rich comeback album. Released decades after their 1960s heyday, this 2019 studio album proves the band hasn’t lost a step — fusing raw garage energy, fuzzed-out guitars, and sharp social commentary.
Featuring original members David Aguilar and Mark Loomis, the album blends classic psych vibes with modern production. Highlights include the title track “This Is My Voice,” the groovy “Judgment Day,” and a bold cover of The Seeds’ “Pushin’ Too Hard.” The band’s signature sound is alive and well: gritty, rebellious, and unmistakably authentic.
Packaged in a high-quality digipak CD, this release is a must-have
