DeWolff – Rosita Rapida
DeWolff managed to record, print and sell a record within three hours. This means that the old record, which was held by Jack White, has been broken by almost an hour. The band already announced that they would attempt a record attempt. The public could register for the recording of their song Rosita, which takes about twenty minutes on the record vinyl. The recordings took place in the Artone Studio in Haarlem, where the vinyl was also printed.
DeWolff’s performance is extra impressive because they chose to record a particularly long song. Jack White took the world record in 2014 with the song Lazaretto, which lasts about 3.5 minutes. DeWolff chose the epic Rosita, which already lasts 16 minutes on the album Love, Death & In Between (2023), and is four minutes longer in the version they recorded. Nevertheless, the Dutch rock band was almost an hour faster with recording, pressing and selling.
