‘WIR WAREN HIER is the trio’s sixth album. The band was founded in Stuttgart fourteen years ago and stayed in the current line-up of Kevin Kuhn, Julian Knoth and Max Rieger for twelve years now. DIE NERVEN played their way through the clubs and festivals (Roskilde, Melt!, Appletree Garden, Sziget, Eurosonic), and were the first German-speaking band to release on the style-defining US label Amphetamine Reptile Records. In 2015, they released their third album OUT on Glitterhouse Records and toured extensively far beyond the borders of Germany, leading to their first live record LIVE IN EUROPA in June 2017. FAKE then, with number 13 a chart success for the band, marked the breakthrough at the latest.
