Eskalatie are like that stain at the back of your fridge: every time you notice it, it’s bigger than the time before! This collective of 12 young music addicts from Haarlem draws its inspiration mainly from the first two waves of ska, but also from punk and rhythm & blues, creating a unique cacophony — or should we say “skakophony”? Their live shows are an unparalleled chaos in which, at some point, audience and band members become completely indistinguishable! Absolutely worth skipping your grandma’s (possibly last) birthday for! In February of 2026 the band will release their first single on Wap Shoo Wap Records featuring two skanking dancefloor killers “TOTALE ESKALATIE” and “BELLENBLAASMACHINE”.
