After the earlier in 2024 released First Four Tapes, now the fifth part called “J.U.R.” appears on CD by lo-fi hardcore punk orchestra Geishas of Doom. 11 tracks of delicious unadulterated hardcore punk noise with a touch of lo-fi ambient noise. An ode to the last remaining beacon of the Dutch cultural live scene: Jur Scherpenzeel. With his Amsterdam blues tent Maloe Melo he stands for freedom and a “fuck you” mentality against everything that goes wrong in the current time. G.O.D. is love, JUR 4ever.
