Finally, it’s here: the long-awaited second album from GREEN DESERT TREE. With their first album, “Progressive Worlds,” Green Desert Tree already made a lasting impression on the prog world in 2019. The Berlin band led by mastermind Tim Sund (keyboardist for Krautrock legends Agitation Free, among others) proved that contemporary neo-prog from Germany need not hide behind the international competition in terms of musical quality and originality. Experts had noticed a new star in the prog sky. But just as GDT was about to take to the international festival stages, the band’s plans were thwarted by COVID-19. This involuntary interruption of all activities also brought about a few personnel changes, with former bassist Sascha Giebel becoming the lead singer and Italian bassist Francesco Beccaro joining the band.
