The Heathen Apostles revisit the art of the remix on this split EP with doom-dub supergroup The Vladiators. The Heathens released Requiem for a Remix in 2015, and their 2026 offering features remixes by Chopper Franklin. It opens with the incendiary No Peace (No Justice mix); the song was written in the wake of the George Floyd protests and first appeared on Bloodgrass Vol. 3 & 4 (2018). Two heavy dub mixes follow; 2016’s Deadly Nightshade (from Bloodgrass Vol. I & II) and Shadow of the Crows (from Bloodgrass Vol. 3 & 4) both get the heavy treatment. “As a band, Heathen Apostles has always identified as antifascist.
