Kaipa – Children Of The Sounds
Kaipa is a Swedish band from the Uppsala area, moving in symphonic rock with influences from folk music and influenced by Yes.
The result is musically and lyrically as colorful as Kaipa fans will expect from the band’s rich discography that goes back to their debut opus released in 1975. Kaipa, founded in 1973, never shied away from experimenting and embraced new elements and sounds that are especially evident on the albums released in the 2000s. ‘Children Of The Sounds’ is no exception. It embodies a powerful, positive energy and artistic brilliance that is irresistible and true to the essence of the genre.
Kaipa was born when Hans Lundin and Roine Stolt ended up in one band. Roine Stolt became popular in progressive rock throughout Europe in the years following the release of those albums; first with his solo albums, later through the band The Flower Kings.
Construction Records
Construction Records is the young Dutch progressive-sympho rock-metal label officially launched as part of Suburban Music Group (NL), which also includes record label Suburban Records and Suburban Marketing & Distribution. Construction Records will mainly house progressive and/or symphonic rock and metal bands in the broadest sense, who stand out for their craftsmanship in songwriting and instrument mastery.
