“Kill the Hunted” is the first new studio album by the Power Metal band Leatherwolf from Orange County / California, since “World Asylum” from 2006. The band is known for the use of three lead guitars, the so-called Triple Axe Attack. The new album is as uncompromising and deadly as the title suggests. It marks the latest chapter in the band’s often turbulent history. “Kill the Hunted” is an 11-course metal feast for the senses, ranging from razor-sharp daggers. Leatherwolf also teamed up again with sound engineer Randy Burns (Megadeth, Kreator, Helstar) before the files were put in the hands of L.A. mastering legend Tom Baker (Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson, Pantera) for the finishing touches.
