Quality Junk is the debut LP from Life of Grime, featuring thirteen original golden-era hip-hop-inspired boom bap and funk instrumentals from Bay Area producer Chris Lujan and friends.
Lujan cites producers including Prince Paul, Dan the Automator, DJ Nu-Mark, Cut Chemist and Wu-Tang as inspirations for the record’s vibe. The music was created with live instruments and without samples.
