Lords of Lounge’s debut album was recorded almost immediately after the band was formed in 2020. Their sound evolved from a spontaneous gig in a hotel lobby during the first COVID-19 lockdowns – and it is precisely this raw energy that characterises the recordings.Surf-inspired guitars, laid-back grooves and a stripped-back, warm band sound form the foundation for instrumental tracks that balance between easy listening, indie and the joy of improvisation. Everything is recorded during the composing process – no demos, no overdubs, just what emerges in the moment.
