Overruled is a speed/thrash metal band from the Netherlands known for their direct, uncompromising metal. They previously released an EP in 2013, followed by the full-length album Hybris in 2018. On this new EP, titled Ritual of Rebirth, the band takes a clear step towards a heavier and darker sound, in which, besides speed and thrash, influences from death and black metal are also prominent. The music is more layered, intense, and thematically focused than before.
