Sunday Kids – Sweet One
Amsterdam rock band Sunday Kids releases their second album. The band was founded in 2013 and has already enjoyed great success. Their music was selected for the commercial of Grolsch beer Kornuit, they became the most played band from the pop round of 2014, and their album received rave reviews at home and abroad. And rightly so. The energetic music of the foursome is sometimes reminiscent of bands like Black Keys and testifies to a preference for Americana and American rock, blues and soul. It is presented in a tight jacket and served to the listener with an incredible energy. In addition to a successful English tour, they also played in the support programs of Lucinda Williams and Beth Hart and made a big impression. Mischa den Haring, frontman of T-99, and Hans Hanneman produced this second album, which is more mature than the debut. There are psychedelic moments, but also turns towards surf and garage rock. 2015 is for Sunday Kids.
