The Black Cult – The Black Cult
Suburban Records proudly presents the newest signing to the Suburban roster: The Black Cult. It is clear that Groningen is the garage rock capital of the Netherlands. Especially after hearing the newest addition, The Black Cult.
Last year, the band was picked up by Tim Knol, who released the I Don’t Want It EP on his own Tender Records. The band has been making waves in the past two years at breakneck speed. They made a crushing impression at Noorderslag, toured with The Miseries, played the Popronde and even performed in the main hall of Paradiso. Their infectious mix of garage, punk and pop makes you want more, like any good addiction. Rock ’n roll as it should be. Fast, hard and super tight. Put on your leather jacket and go!
In the short existence of the band, they have already played at festivals such as Zwarte Cross, Incubate, Where The Wild Things Are and Klikofest. In addition, The Black Cult opened for Warm Soda, Useless Eaters, Bleached, Dead Ghosts and Guano Apes (yes, really.)
