De oorspronkelijke ingrediënten zijn nog altijd aanwezig op Soul In Exile, ze worden alleen nog smakelijker gepresenteerd. Alsof het gerecht een dag langer in de marinade heeft gelegen. Hierdoor klinkt het dynamischer; soms rauwer en vervolgens meer doorbakken.
