biography

Despite its short existence, 7Zuma7 is regarded as one of the best Dutch stoner formations ever. The foursome from Eindhoven managed to play on Lowlands and Dynamo without even releasing an album. The combination of sleazy psychedelics and stylish outfits make 7Zuma7 a live sensation.

Debut album Deep Inside was released in 1999 to critical acclaim from both national and international media. Dave Wyndorf from Monster Magnet counted himself as one of the bands biggest fans and Dutch music magazine OOR even called the album one of the forty best Dutch releases ever. The album has been out of stock for ages; on eBay prices start at 100 euro.

At first things looked a bit bleak for the re-release as the original artwork was stored on an ancient format. Thanks to the Dutch Rock ‘n Roll community, Deep Inside could be re-released before their last show in 2011.

“Every story has it’s beginning, this one starts deep inside. Again.”
