Skroetbalg – Geen Toeval
Born from boredom during the first lockdown in 2020, started from impatience in 2021, the 80th show played at the end of 2023: The story of Skroetbalg, punk rock ‘n roll from Drenthe, in a nutshell. The pilot light for Skroetbalg was ignited in late 2019 during a pub crawl in Groningen and after the first practice session in the summer of 2020 they knew: this is going to be awesome. And so it happened: they played at the Zwarte Cross, Sjock, Scumbash and Helldorado, among others. Many Dutch pop temples were visited and they opened for the likes of Supersuckers, Toy Dolls, Fleddy Melculy and the Heideroosjes. In addition, Skroetbalg has twelve releases under its belt, including six physical releases and nearly 500,000 streams on Spotify.
